History of TBAA Daycare
TBAA
Daycare began its journey in July 99, Robert & Angel
Humphrey started a small home based business on
shore merit and determination. Angel embarked
on this career path by working as an assistant in
another home daycare. She realized that the
work she was doing to help nurture children would be
her life long path. She took great pride in
developing the children cognitive, physical, &
socio-emotional development skills. Soon she
began to also realize that she could enhance what
she was being taught. She developed her own
teaching methods and the children really began to
develop a bond with Ms. Angel. She soon
decided that it was not full-filling just being and
assistant so she talked with her husband Robert.
She expressed to him her interest in opening her own
daycare home facility. She told him that she
believe that she could do this as a career.
Robert Humphrey who is a DeVry Graduate and a
business/marketing major was all for the idea.
He was very supportive of his wife’s dream.
He's been so supportive that he even decided to
become an integral part of the organization, not
only is he a partner in the business but he also is
extremely active in the business as well.
During the past several years. Touch By An
Angel Daycare has continued to defy the odds.
With so many home base facilities opening, as well
as closing, TBAA's has remained consistent.
Continuing to evolve to meet today’s constant demand
for quality childcare. TBAA focus is to
develop children through adequate early childhood
intervention with hopes of those children becoming
socially responsible citizens. They have
nurtured various young adults and shown tremendous
growth throughout their program.
In
2006 they embarked on an even bigger adventure.
They have expanded to a Daycare Center with hopes of
touching the lives of more children throughout the
community.
So
lets join TOUCH BY AN ANGEL DAYCARE and Preschool
Academy in its quest to become the most complete and
comprehensive facility on the City of Chicago’s
Westside and West Suburban community.
